I’ve been in the finance industry for most of my working life, initially starting work as a trainee accountant.
Over the years, I’ve developed the knowledge and expertise to deal with most areas of financial planning, particularly those associated with investments, pensions, and long-term care.
Starting Escott Wealth Management and having my previous clients confirm they’re happy to continue receiving advice from me has been the proudest moment of my career.
Most of my clients are either approaching retirement or are retired. But I’m happy to help anyone who’s open to the idea of taking financial advice or feels that speaking to an independent specialist will benefit them.
The things I enjoy most about my job are making financial matters easier to understand for my clients and helping them achieve their financial goals and objectives. I also love the trust my clients place in me.
Outside of work
I enjoy most sports, but mainly of the watching variety now! I also enjoy reading thrillers, normally the darker the better.
I like to go out for a good meal and socialise with family and friends whenever the chance arises. I like to travel, especially if there’s a guarantee of sunshine!
Things I like:
- Spurs winning
- A really nice meal out
- A cold pint
- Downtime with family and friends
- Watching the sunset after a sunny day
- Good manners
- My Kindle
Things I don't like:
- Spurs losing
- Negative people
- Grey, rainy days
- The internet failing and the kids moaning about it
- Milky tea
- Transport delays
